My 1st BarkDay Pawty At Pawtobello

I turned ONE on Sep 1st!!! i'm a BIG girl now!

Jiejie put on a new dress for me n she said it's my barkday dress! it has prints of many many strawberries! 1 barkday pic to kick-off the big day, n i was ready to set-off for my pawty!

Jiejie forgot to take a pic of the place, so here's a pic extracted from their website. Pawtobello Cafe is the same place where some of our DWB Singapaw frens met up for the National Day Pawty.

actually, my pawty was more of a gathering of family & close frens of Jiejie. i got to meet my Papa & Mummy (aka Jiejie's parents), Small Jiejie (Jiejie's younger sister) and Ting Ting Jiejie (Jiejie's childhood fren).

while the hoomans were busy checking out the food menu, i was busy making frens. there were at least 4 Schnauzers in the cafe, i wondered if there's a Schnauzer gathering... but apparently not.

initially, the Schnauzer in the pic below was rather hostile, cos i kept wanting to snuggle up to her hooman. i couldn't help it, i'm a friendly doggin! but my perseverance paid off, n i managed to rouse her into a mean game of bitey-face!

Once the hoomans were done with their food, it was cake-cutting time! it's a banana sponge cake with lotsa icing, made specially for us doggins.

HAPPEE BARKDAY TO ME!!!

here's me supervising the cake-cutting. "yup Jiejie, u can distribute the head, the body is mine!" n dat suspicious looking hand belonged to Mummy!

n i supervised while Gorgor helped to distribute the cake to the other doggins in the cafe.

A silky terrier, Crystal. can u believe dat she's oredi 11 yrs old??? she's veri active, n would tag after her Mummy all around the cafe, n she could jump onto the seat all by herself! i still can't do dat... *blush*

after Crystal & her hoomans left, this Border Collie pup came. he's only 4 mths old!

we were joined by this playful Cavalier Spaniel pup. ain't she a cutie?

oh! is this Ernest? or General Jackson? but no, his name is Jasper, n he's only 5 mths old! he has the longest body i had ever seen, n the loudest bark! of cos, my Jiejie was so in love with Jasper dat she tailed him all around the cafe. such an embarrassment!

i had a great time at Pawtobello! i hope i can meet up with our DWB Singapaw frens at Pawtobello soon!
n i oso received barkday prezzies in the mail from some of them. finally i got to open them on my barkday! i'll blog about the prezzies in a separate post! TQ all for the barkday wishes! i was a veri HAPPEE BARKDAY GIRL!
